Wadsworth is a city in Medina County, Ohio, United States. Founded in 1814, it was named after General Elijah Wadsworth, a Revolutionary War hero. The population was 21,567 at the 2010 census. Wadsworth is a suburban community within the Cleveland-Akron-Canton OH Combined Statistical Area, which is the 15th most populous CSA in the country.
